Smoke Listener

Convenient and affordable smoke detection for your home automation system.

Centralite’s Smoke Listener uses technology that listens for the frequency of a standard smoke detector’s audible alerts. This revolutionary innovation provides an easy and cost effective solution for homeowners wanting to add smoke detection to their homes without the expense and headache of replacing existing smoke detection systems.

Battery Backed-up Repeating

The Smoke Listener also acts as a ZigBee HA 1.2 repeater. This enables ZigBee devices that are far from your hub to connect more reliably. Power outages are no problem for the Smoke Listener. With an integrated Li-Ion battery, the Smoke Listener will continue detecting smoke alarm triggers and provide repeating functionality for 24 hours!

Ultimate Compatibility

The 3-Series Smoke Listener is fully ZigBee HA 1.2 certified and will function with any open, ZigBee HA 1.2-certified hubs and devices.

Certified Safe

The 3-Series Smoke Listener is UL Listed for Safety and provides a safe, reliable solution to your emergency repeating and smoke alarm trigger detection needs.

Don't replace your smoke detectors, integrate them!

The Smoke Listener's embedded microphone "listens" for the T-3 tone that smoke detectors emit.

By placing the Smoke Listener in the same room as your existing smoke detector,
it provides a bridge between your "dumb" smoke detectors and smart home.
